What is Cargo Dog

I have been looking at different storage systems for my Jeep, and yes currently this is only for Jeeps. That is where Cargo dog came into the equation. I have seen a few options when it comes to storage for jeeps from cargo trays mounted on the roll bar, to rhino lined plywood boxes that substitute in the rear of the vehicle. However, none of it was what I was looking for and allowed for me to have options. My jeep is a daily driver and I need a modular system to accomidate how I use my Jeep on a daily basis. Cargo dog comes in 2 pieces that are seperated in a 60/40 fassion made of 16 guage steel. All pieces are lockable, weather stripped, and illuminated with LEDs with the center section containing powered USB ports and a 12V plug only weighing in at a total of 60 lbs. The system also eliminates the trench you get when you fold down the seats in the 4 door models.

How do I use my Cargo Dog

Personally, I use my Cargo dog System to keep all of my gear for daily and weekend use in my Jeep locked and safe. The Cargo Dog system has 3 parts, a driver side box, center compartment, and passenger box. In the driver side I keep hoses and tools for airing up after a trail, as well as Elevate OffRoad jackets and decals, a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and a camping chair. These are just things I want easy access to for what ever the day throws at me. The Center section is for my radios, cameras and accessories, and anything else that may need to be charged. This all because the center compartment is powered and has different forms of power outlets. Finally the passenger compartment is where I keep my tools, extra first aid kits, dog supplies, tire patch kits, extra fluid for steering and coolant, as well as a chair for my passenger (as seen in the photo above).

Why do I use Cargo Dog?

For how I use my Jeep this system is incredible. Ever since I got this vehicle I have been trying to find new ways to make it more useful and have better storage. Anytime I would take the doors or top off, I would never know where to put anything. The OEM storage options are not big enough for camera gear and what not, so I could never leave it and not worry. In addition, as a daily driver I use my jeep in many different situations where cargo room is important. Then when I need seats for passengers I need to be able to have that but still not give up the cargo room. Cargo Dog accomidates all of those needs very well in my personal opinion. The 60/40 split allows for me to have the rear driverside seat and still keep all of the lockable cargo behind the passenger. Then if needed, I can swap the entire system out in a matter of 15 minutes. This system also allows for on the longer trips with the dogs, everything is already loaded and locked away in the Jeep and we have plenty of room for the dogs, a cooler with food and drinks, and all of our gear and clothes.

Overall?

Everyone uses their Jeeps and vehicles different. But, overall for those of you who like options, security, and space. This is the product for you! I hear the argument all the time of, "well what if you have kids." now thats a valid argument, however the 60/40 split helps with that. It doesnt solve it, but its gives you the ability to have both rear seating and storage. Overall, Cargo Dog allows for you to have the security you need, versatility you want, and options you'll need to pack your jeep for the longest of trips, security for those topless beautiful days, and everyday needs of daily driving.
